Played by: VERITY RUSHWORTHVerity hails from Leeds and trained at the SLP College, Leeds.
She began her acting career at the age of three years old with her first performance in panto at the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford playing the part of a sunbeam! She then went on to play Tom the Cat in Dick Whittington, Brigitta in The Sound of Music (Yeadon Town Hall) and Lucy Keen in Heartbeat (Yorkshire TV).
Then at the age of 12 she landed the role of Donna Windsor in Emmerdale (Granada TV), a role which she has been playing for over 10 years, and has only recently departed from the show.
Other television appearances include: Des and Mel, Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes, Children in Need, a guest appearance on stage with the London cast of ‘Fame’ for GMTV, Celebrity Family Fortunes, Celebrity Weakest Link, as a guest presenter on T4 and Soapstar Superstar.
Verity is delighted to be making her West End debut.
