Hairspray

Theatre: Classically trained, Sandra made her West End debut as ‘Ensemble Soloist’ and understudy ‘Maria’ in Sir Trevor Nunn’s adaptation of Porgy & Bess (Savoy Theatre, London); ‘Rafiki’ in The Legend of the Lion King; ‘Lorraine’ in Boogie Nights and ‘Genie of the Lamp’ in Aladdin (Qdos Entertainment) and‘City of Angels 4’ in City of Angels, ‘Miss Roxie’ in The Roaring Twenties’ and ‘Rizzo’ in Grease.’

Vocal performances: Most recent credits include Mass Carib, directed by Felix Cross for the Greenwich & Docklands Festival 2007; Opera Genesis for the Royal Opera House and short opera Drive, Ride, Walk for theTête à Tête Opera Festival (Bridewell Theatre Group). Sandra has also performed in various international live band shows.

Sandra is thrilled to be part of the London premiere of Hairspray.
