Hairspray

Chlöe grew up in Truro, Cornwall. She moved to Guildford in 2006 where she trained at the Guildford School of Acting on the BA Musical Theatre course, graduating July 2009. In her second year she was awarded the Margaret Veale singing prize.  

Roles whilst training include, Queequeg – Moby Dick, Delores Dante – Working, Belle Elmore - Belle – The Ballad of Dr Crippin, , Mrs Schroeder – Anyone Can Whistle and Maria – Man of La Mancha. Additionally she was chosen to be a soloist in a masterclass with Andrew Lippa during her final year.

Her highlight whilst training was being a member of the West End Chorus in Chess in Concert at the Royal Albert Hall in May last year with Idina Menzel.

Before attending GSA she also trained with the National Youth Music Theatre in their production of Orvin – Champion of Champions written and directed by Sir Alan Ayckbourn.

Chlöe is absolutely thrilled to be making her professional and West End debut as Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray and would like to thank her family and friends for their continued love and support. It means the world!
