Television: On BBC1's Last Choir Standing Sharon was a panel judge which had an audience of over 12 million viewers every Saturday evening. For the past 3 years Sharon has played the role of 'Dr Lola Griffin' in Holby City (BBC). Sharon was also seen on CBBC playing 'Grandma Flossie' in The Crust. Other TV credits include: Waking The Dead (BBC): Soldier Soldier (Carlton); Broken Glass (BBC); Between The Lines (BBC); Children's Ward (Granada); Stop, Look & Listen Mary Seacole (Ch4); Past Caring (BBC); The Singing Detective (BBC); Here & Now (Central); EastEnders (BBC) and Where's Boo (CBBC).
Theatre: Sharon has just completed the musical tour of Once on This Island at Hackney Empire playing 'Asaka' (Mother Earth); the production also played at The Birmingham Rep, and the Nottingham Playhouse. Sharon appeared at Hackney Empire in the short run of Vagina Monologues as well as last year's Christmas pantomime of Mother Goose where she played the role of 'Charity'. She also appeared in another production of Vagina Monologues (Grand Theatre, Wolverhampton and New Theatre, Hull). Before that she showed off her vocal talents performing in Lift Off (Curve, Leicester). Sharon has appeared as 'Mama Morton' in Chicago (Adelphi Theatre, London) after originating the role of 'Killer Queen' in the Queen/Ben Elton spectacular We Will Rock You (The Dominion, London) for which she received an Olivier Award nomination. Immediately prior to We Will Rock You Sharon had spent two years appearing as 'Rafiki' in Walt Disney's The Lion King (Lyceum Theatre, London).
Other notable West End Credits include: The role of 'Joanne' in Rent (Shaftesbury Theatre); Stepping Out directed by Julia McKenzie (Albery Theatre); Once On This Island (Royalty Theatre) for which Sharon received an Olivier nomination for Best Supporting Actress; Mama I Want To Sing where she took over the role of 'Mama Winter' during Doris Troy's absence (Cambridge Theatre) and Blues In The Night (Piccadilly Theatre/Duke Of Yorks).
Sharon's vocal talents were heard as 'Davina the Diva Harp' in Jack & the Beanstalk and as 'Carmina The Camel' in Aladdin at the Hackney Empire. Other credits include: 'Fairy Godmother' in Cinderella (Hackney Empire); Big Nose (Belgrade Theatre Coventry); Lost & Found – a one woman show under the umbrella of the Talawa produced Zebra Crossing II. Sharon has also worked as Musical Director on Meridian (Contact, Manchester).

Sharon has also been a guest DJ for Sunset
Radio's Saturday Morning Mayhem Show.
Sharon has also achieved chart success including: The F.P.I Project's remake of Going Back To My Roots which reached No.8 in the singles chart; a No.1 club hit with Happiness and has also had over two million worldwide singles sales as Nomad – which have included: (I Wanna Give You)…, Devotion which reached no.2 in the charts: Just A Groove and Your Love Is Lifting Me!
